Tour Overview

Caño Cristales, known as the River of Five Colors, is one of Colombia’s most remarkable natural sites. Located within Serranía de la Macarena National Natural Park, the river displays red, yellow, green, blue, and black tones produced by the aquatic plant Macarenia clavigera.

Access to Caño Cristales is strictly regulated to protect the ecosystem. Visits are only possible during specific months of the year and require park permits and certified local guides. Due to limited daily access, booking well in advance is mandatory.

This tour starts and ends in La Macarena and includes only local services and guided park visits. Flights are not included or arranged.
